We are noticing some of the promo codes we’ve made don’t appear as selectable option in the Edit interface of some events. For instance, there is one event where no promo codes show up as checkboxes, even new ones I made to troubleshoot the problem.
This problem also seems to change over time, where codes that were working stop working and disappear as options from the Edit Event interface.
We haven’t had any problems with checked events not working on the front end of the site.
Yes, Roles and Permissions is active. However all the users right now are admins.
I just noticed, however, that only the promo codes a person has made appear on the events that person made.
So the events that I haven’t made are the ones that I can’t select the codes for.
Is this the intended operation? If everyone that has access to WordPress is going to be an Administrator anyway, should I just disable the Roles and Permissions Add-on to fix?
It is one of the intended functions of Roles and Permissions to make promo codes “owned” by specific users, not roles. In this case, if all the users are admins I don’t see any reason to use the Roles and Permissions add-on.
Thanks for the info. I deactivated the plugin and everything is working as expected.
