I swear that every time i add a new event, i can guarantee that something isn’t going to work properly. i think this is about the 10th time promo codes don’t work on my site(s). Again, I have an event where we are charging $50 per head. However, we have some clients that want to attend so we used our already created “CLIENT” promo code to give to them so they get in completley free. Well they cannot get it to work in the cart at all. The cart generates a $100 total when i choose 2 tickets, then when CLIENT is entered, it shows as calculating and still comes back showing $100 as the total. I’ve deleted the code and re-entered it but still nothing. I have All promocodes set to work, even non-global. I have also re-checked and I have “allow discounts in the cart” set to yes. Any suggestions on why this wont’ work AGAIN? Seriously guys, i really want to like EE, but every single time I add an event, it’s a day’s worth of errors and a waste of my time on here trying to get it fixed. The promo code works now but that specific promo code still won’t show on the event details page when I choose Global and Specific Promo Codes. The other promo codes I had in there from previous event months ago do show, but the most recent one named CLIENT will not show.
Is it set to be a global promo code or non-global?
