I am using
EE4 4.8.13.p
Promotions Plugin 1.0.2.p
Stripe Gateway 1.0.10.p

have installed EE4 here: http://spiritfestival.com.au/tickets/

When I go through the registration and enter the Promo Code: ‘fy’

The total is $.81

However, when I try to pay with Stripe, the total does not reflect the discount and is showing $162

(see attached screenshots)

Is this a known bug? and is there a workaround?

This is not a known bug. Are there any JavaScript errors thrown on your checkout pages?

No errors, you can try yourself:

It turns out that your active WordPress theme (Khore) is loading its own copy of the jQuery JavaScript library. WordPress, Event Espresso, Stripe, and the promotions add-on were developed on and tested with the version of jQuery that’s included with WordPress. Can you change the Khore theme so it loads the copy of the jQuery library from WordPress instead?

The entire theme, uses the jQuery in the theme folder, see links, when I attempt to load the one in the wordpress directory it breaks the site.
Khore seems to be a popular event template and I am quite happy with it.
Is there another workaround to get Stripe to update with the correct discount with promo codes?
Thanks

Hi Alex,

Can you go to Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Stripe, and set the Open by Default option to No, then try the promo code again ?

Hi Josh,
that seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks. Good workaround!!

You’re welcome.

You can also update to the latest Stripe add-on, which will allow you to set the Stripe add-on to open by default.
