WordPress 4.1 The promo codes – they apply to all tickets within one order? Even for dollar amounts? So if we have a promo code for $10, everyone who registers in that group for that event would have $10 off their ticket? If I use the Groupon add-on, would the dollar amount (e.g. $10) just be taken off, or again, the whole event be free for each registrant? I received conflicting information during the sales process – and we are now seeing that flat dollar amounts will apply to all registrants, which is what we don’t want. We want a flat fee to apply – not multiply – when there are more than 1 registrant. Is there a solution for this? Thank you. |
Hi Rebecca, We’re working on building a promotions add-on for EE4. When it’s finished, it will include a promo code feature where one discount amount will apply to the entire order regardless of the number of tickets in the order. EE3’s promo code feature applies the discount amount to each ticket in the order. |

Starting today, current support license holders can opt in to the pre-release channel and download the Event Espresso 4.7 and Promotion add-on pre-releases. We’d love to get your feedback on some of the new promotion features and changes that we’ve been working on. These include:
Important: The Event Espresso 4 promotions add-on will activate only if Event Espresso 4.7 is active. This means you’ll need to install the Event Espresso 4.7 pre-release before installing the promotions add-on.
If you haven’t already opted into Event Espresso’s pre-release channel, you can go to your account page and check the box to opt in to the pre-release channel. Once you opt in, the download files will be available under the EE4 tab under the Pre Release Downloads heading. You can find out more information about in the pre-release channel guide. If you have feedback about Promotions or the 4.7 release, please reply to that Promotions announcement or start another new topic. |
