I’m seeing the following issue for a promo code with the following settings:
– Type is “percent discount”
– Amount “-100”.
– Scope is “Event”
– “Apply Promo to ALL Scope Items” = Yes
– “Promo is exclusive” = No
– Number of uses: blank (for no limit)
When more than one event is in the shopping cart, and we apply the promo code, it discounts for the first item in the shopping cart (message: “Accepted”). When the code is entered again, it refuses to apply to the second item in the cart (message: “We’re sorry, but the promotion code “[code]” could not be applied to any Events. You are welcome to try a different promotion code or to try this one again to ensure it was entered correctly”). Screenshot: https://www.evernote.com/l/AU1f7EiC57dAt5n_EN5Ol_DCma5ehsjonrs
Expected behaviour is that the promo code will cover all items in the shopping cart.
Any ideas why this code wouldn’t work for all events in the cart?
The version of WordPress is 4.4.2 with Event Espresso version 4.8.31.p with Promotions add-on version 1.0.11.p The website is https://www.healthandsafetybc.ca
I can reproduce this on one of our test sites and have created a ticket for our developers to investigate with a note to update this thread with any findings.
Thanks Tony, much appreciated. We’ll wait to hear what the developers say.
