Hello, I’m having a few issues with creating recurring events with different timeslots. I want my calendar to display slots for 10am, 11am, 12am…up to 6pm. I’ve got 10am and 11am working fine, but when I follow the same pattern for 12pm it shows each event as ‘Registration closed’ on the calendar, but clicking the event shows that it’s open. I’ve then created 1pm to see if there was a bug with 12pm, but the 1pm events don’t even display on the calendar. I’ve then had a look at the JSON returned when the calendar loads and for 12pm and 1pm all of the dates and times looks like this example: “end”:”1970-01-01T01:00:00+01:00″ All of the plugins and EE are the latest version and I’ve not edited any core files. Here are the settings I’ve used for 12pm: Registration Start: 2013-02-18 Recurring settings It produces all of the correct dates and the events show as open in the back-end and if I click on the event. So I’m assuming there’s a bug with the calendar somewhere. I can provide more info if needed. Thanks in advance, |

I’ve fixed the problem. In my WordPress settings the time format was set to custom: ‘g:ia’ – I don’t remember changing this so it may have been a plugin that changed it. So I switched the time format to the first option ‘g:i a’ – note the space and all of the timeslots have started working again. π Thanks, |
Hi Liam, I suspect the issue here is “End: 13:00pm” as that is not a valid time. I can not re-produce this as EE adjusts this time on my installs. Change this to 1:00pm and update all the events in the series to change that value using this option ‘All events in this series’ (http://take.ms/RLl2A) then update the event(s). The events should now work. Which version of Event Espresso & the Calendar are you currently using? |

Ahh, you’d replied whilst I was looking into this. Glad you got this sorted π |

Hi Tony, I was entering it as 1:00pm and 2:00pm but it would automatically convert it to 13:00pm and 14:00pm. I’ve just tested again by switching back to the custom time format (it was actually set to ‘H:ia’) and the time slots break again. Liam |
Hi Liam,
In that case it make sense. H = Hour, 24-hour, with leading zeros I’ll make a note of this for support to check if this comes up again in the future. Thank you π |
