Brand new install of EE4 on latest WP. Tested with all other plugins off and 2015 theme.
When I create a new event the event content field is uneditable. The Event Tickets and Datetimes panel is empty and the Active Status says Sold Out, even though no tickets are set.
Not a good start, and very annoyed that there is no chance of emailing support directly about this after shelling out $280…
I’m sorry for the trouble and annoyance. We can take a look to make sure that everything was correctly set up on the installation if you can send temporary access to the site via this secure form:
It’s all working now. Thank you for sending the credentials, it helped us find the problem. The problem was this fatal error that was thrown when the ticket editor loaded:
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'The following date time '12th July, 2015 2:17 pm' can not be parsed by PHP due to its formatting.<br />You may need to choose a more standard date time format. Please check your WordPress Settings.'
The comma between the month name and new makes for an invalid PHP date format. So I removed the comma from the date format setting in WP > Settings > General and the event editor loads correctly now.
