Problems with Mailchimp addon

We are trying to use Mailchimp add-on and had it all set-up and configured then noticed that it wasn’t working, when we checked the settings again the api key had cleared from the EE settings. So once it was entered again the plugin worked but we had to edit all the events again to link to the right Mailchimp group (it seemed to retain the mailing list selection but not the group)

The same thing now keeps happening randomly where the api key seems to remove itself and I can’t work out why.

Have you come across this before?

This has been reported before and we are not sure why the API key is removing itself. We are looking into possible causes.
