HI guys.

I am trying to set one generic confirmation email that use for all the events that I run on my website
http://www.amsn.com.au

i am using the code
When: [start_date] at [start_time] and run till [end_time]

yet on the confirmation email for connecting practise all that appears is
When: at and run till

Steps i have tried to resolve this
1. re-entered start and end times in case of error. no change
2. tested another event ( the first aid course that works fine )
3. copied the code from the first aid which i know works and pasted it into the connecting practise email
When: [start_date] at [start_time] and run till [end_time]

4. again re-entered the start times and still it fails to render.

its working fine all my other envents. there is something about the connecting practise that fails to make it work.

Any ideas what im not seeing ?

nb: i have typed in the start times manually in the email just to make sure any customers that enroll have the right info. the i have left the code in place above this.

I have had read of other problems on the forum on this nature and the issue of wordpress time and date settings come up but to me this does seem to be the issue as it works fine on the other events except connecting practise.
but for the record they are
Date: custom j F, Y ( Australians but the day before the month in logical position kind of like the metric system !
time: first box ticked
Time Format 7:29 pm

Hi Brent,

It turns out that the email function grabs the start/end datetimes from the attendee record, it does not grab the start / end times from the event data. This is because there can be more than one event time for an event to choose from.

Since nothing is showing up in the email, the attendee record that’s from your test may not have this information recorded for it. If you go into the attendee overview for this event, can you look to see event time is recorded for this attendee?

Josh !!

Your a genius.

that makes perfect sence now. I was using my enrollment to generate the test emails but i had enrolled at a time when the registration time had not been configured.

Just ran a test with new enrollment and it worked fine

this issue is resolved.

thankyou kindly for your help again
