We just held an event in which the number of seats were limited. It was a free event, so payment completion was not the issue here. However, we had 40 confirmed registrations while 7-10 showed up stating they had registered and EE had no confirmation of their registrations. We believe this is due to a “mixed” message they receive. After they have entered their require registration information, there is a pop-up message that says something to the effect that their registration has been accepted. YET, there is a box remaining on the page that requires them to “Finalize Registration.” I suspect that once they receive the pop-up message, they are not clicking the button to “finalize.”
We need a solution. We have limited spacing in our training room. If we get 25% more people than we expect, this is a problem. Can the pop-up message be change or removed altogether? Do you have other examples or suggestions to ensure completed registrations?
It will replace that attendee submitted messaging with a call to action to click the Finalize Registration button.
