– When my customers want to purchase a ticket, when they want to pay, the following message appear : “This registration step could not be completed. Please refresh the page and try again.”
We have been getting an influx of calls concerning this problem.
The problem may be a “500 error” : jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:4 POST http://docentour.com/gct/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 500 (Internal Server Error)
Your using PayPal Express and usually, when this happens it means your server needs to be updated to support TLS1.2 connections (although it could be something else). Fairly recently PayPal set a requirement that all connections made to their servers must use TLS1.2, if your server doesn’t support that, or isn’t correctly setup, the connection fails.
Error 500 means a server error is being thrown so there should be something within your sites error logs that gives us more info on where the problem is, your host will usually provide a way for you to view the error logs in your control panel.
To the sites wp-config.php file and we can run a test to see if we can catch the error.
My EE plugin is the 4.9.33.p version, if i update the plugin my problem will be solved ?
Possibly, without knowing the actual error being thrown we can’t give you a definite answer. We do recommend running the latest version of Event Espresso though to make sure you have all of the current bugfixes on the site.
and, i think my support licence had expired. How may I know if I still have the license ?
If the account you are logged into now is the account you had a license on, then yes it has expired. You can tell by looking at your account page and it will also provide the option to renew your license there.
