Hi, I have problem with the e-mail – confirmation of the registration.

I set up all and tried to fill my details inside in the form. Was working fine, I have confirmation in my mail box in few minutes.

But now, like is public, today some people called me or they send me copy of the email what they receive after registration – they just have first line for the like I set up (is lik “do not answer, this is automatic response …)

but nothing else is there.

I called to some other registered and some of them have all info in the mail box but some of them just the first line.

I checked again the settings of the mail and the text is there. I removed all html tags, there is just base text with the main tags in [ ]

Could somebody pls help me ? I don’t know where should be problem.

thanx so much

Roman

also I found, that logo in the min settings is not possible to safe there. I check it many times from media library, but is not there.

&

I have member plugin installed. But – like I was not logged in it shows this error message on the site :

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘member_only_all’ in /data/www/18714/aerobicmania_cz/www/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/templates/registration_page.php on line 259

so I deactivated this plugin, the message is not there but this is not good solution of this problem.

my web sites are : aerobicmania.cz

thanx

Hi,

Regarding the emails, it is very odd that some recieve a full email and others do not. Is there any similarity between the users not recieveing the full email? (e.g. are they using Gmail etc). I assume these people are all on the same event?

This question is related to the email and Warning message: have you modified the Event Espresso plugin in any way? The template files in particular.

Are all the add on plugins up to date? (you can check version numbers via your accounts page).

The logo, are you pressing the “insert into post” button? Does the image appear in the settings before you save them?

Hi Dean,
yes, they are registered for the same event. Just check 3 of them I know for 100% that have not complete email msg. this 3 people have same account on @seznam.cz , so I have to check it with seznam? Now I also set up now to “NO” in the settings for the “interesting email headers. Don’t know what else can do for this.

I did not change the files of EE and plugins were in the last version (i have now WP 3.8, EE 3.1.36.1.P. when the error msg was shown.

No the member plugin is deactivated and he msg is not there.

regarding the logo – in the settings I click on the button upload image -> media library –> choose an image and click on insert to post. And the image is not shown in the settings. I try also to upload new image but is same πŸ™

Hi,

OK, regarding the email issue, we haven’t seen something like this before and since it is only for people registration using an @seznam.cz email it would suggest that the issue is with that email system, perhaps it is being overly aggressive at removing content?

I’m not sure if there is anything that we can do about it from our end, perhaps you could contact the IT department at seznam.cz and discuss it? It might provide more information about what is happening.

Regarding the error message – I cannot duplicate it exactly, but it could be showing this if your WP_DEBUG is set to true. Can you check what WP_DEBUG is set to in your wp-config.php file?

Logo – I still can’t recreate this, though as mentioned you’re not the only one with the issue today. What sort of image are you using – jpg, gif, png, etc? Doe it have any transparent layers?

Hi Dean,

I was contacting @seznam.cz and the confirm that there is some problem with the mails (it seems is because of the HTML links. But now some girls with accounts also on @post.cz have the same problem. But gmial and other accounts seems fine. Will let U now.

regarding the error massage : sorry, i’m not developer, just user, so I have to check thru FTP what is written in WP-confing.php file?

regarding the logo :
I had this EE installed before on some other page and with logo was warming. Now I try to upload jpg and also png file and nothing πŸ™ also i try to upload new one, not use from library and use some pictures from the library, but still the same πŸ™

Hi Roman,

Ok keep me posted please.

Yes, look for the line define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false); it will say true or false. If it is set to true, change it to false.

OK, thanks for the info regarding the picture.

I still cannot replicate this, so is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level and FTP details are appreciated.

Thanks for the login details.

Something seems to be modifying the media uploader as the image URL is coming back as undefined.

The uploader is also showing signs of modification by the Pricing Table Ready plugin (possibly something else).

Can you temporarily deactivate that plugin and see if the image upload works?

It may also be a good idea to do a full troubleshoot and deactivate all plugins except Event Espresso base plugin..

Hi, I deactivated this pricing table plugin or all others (just EE was activated) and was the same.
Could I ask you to check it? I don’t know what I’m doing wrong … πŸ™

Hi Roman,

Did you try re-uploading the image when the other plugin is deactivated?
