Hi there,

EE does not currently have a ‘Delete all from Trash’ option so you need to select the events that you wish to delete from the list – http://take.ms/oVFCs

Then select to delete permanently from the bulk action dropdown to delete the selected events.

You can change the ‘screen options’ in the top right to select how many events are displayed on a single page. Be careful not to set this too high as it may cause the query to time out on your server.

Hello,

Unfortunately, its does not work.
Even if I select just one, if I click directly on delete or if I select the action dropdown delete, my event doesn’t disapear.
For infomration I have 161 event in trash.

Hi there,

Were these events added via the front-end side of the site or via the WordPress admin side?

Hello,

These events are added on front-end with ACF Pro.
But they are always updated on back end to create tickets and associate people.

Have you an idea how I could delete these event ?

I have the same problem when I’m creating the event in back end.
In my memories, couple of weeks ago, it’s working well. Maybe its come from of an update.

I’m not sure how and why an update would cause this. Can you try deleting the events with all other plugins deactivated and using the default WordPress theme?

This may be a capabilities issue. You can go to Event Espresso > Maintenance > Reset, then click Reset Event Espresso Capabilities. This will reset the capabilities.

Done, but still the same problem

I have use this part :

Reset Event Espresso Capabilities
Use this to reset the capabilities on WP roles to the defaults as defined via EE_Capabilities. Note this reset does not REMOVE any existing capabilities, it just ensures that all the defaults are ADDED to the roles.

Were any of ER’s tables customized to get things to work with ACF?

Nop.
Just activate plugins ACF Pro, nothing done specially with database.

Until we have a cleaner solution , maybe you have a SQL script to clean up events in trash. I need to clean the prod.

Thanks,

An SQL script would be kind of dangerous because you’ll end up with some broken relationships between events, transactions, and registrations.

There’s a fix in the 4.9 of Event Espresso that restores delete functionality for cases like this one. You can get the 4.9 branch from github, it’s currently the Master branch.
