I would like to be able to print a badge or label directly from EE – this is not truly a ticket as the default setup creates, but is something similar.
Does such a template already exist? If not, where would I find information about how to create such a template? (the example in the data base is still creating a full-page ticket with a bunch of stuff that I cannot accommodate).

Oh, and the reason that I want to do this is not for my pre-reg attendees (I can export a spreadsheet to create those badges). It’s for the on-site registration, because I never again want to have to hand-enter data to print the badge labels. 🙂

Custom name badges could be accomplished by creating a custom ticket:
