I’ve had a number of people saying that their tickets don’t have barcodes on the them. One person mentioned that they have upgraded to Windows 10 and they were using the Microsoft Edge browser. I tested this myself and found the same issue on Windows 10 32-bit and Microsoft Edge browser v 20.10240.16384.0. Internet Explorer 11.0.10240.16431, which also came pre-installed with Windows 10 doesn’t display the barcodes either.
Chrome and Firefox on Windows 10 display the barcodes perfectly.
Can you check to see which barcode output_type you have the barcode shortcode set to display?
The output_type parameter is used to set the output type for the generated barcode (default is svg). It can be either svg, canvas, bmp, or css. Note: Some output types don’t print well depending on the browser. You can display additional barcodes with alternative output types to ensure at least one barcode displays in every browser. Examples:
Thanks Josh, I’ve changed it to CSS and that seems to work in chrome, edge and firefox on Windows 10.
Thanks for your help
