Primary Registration and Address fields not saving when someone registers

I have set up my first event. I can successfully register and pay with PayPal. I also have 1 option for free ticket. I can successfully register a for the free option.

Issue:
Fields from the “Personal Information” group and “Address Information” group do not store what the registrant types in, nor does it subscribe the person to the MailChimp list as it is not passing the email address along.

In the event setup, under the “Questions for Primary Registrant” it appears the “Personal Information” group is required by default. I also have the “Address Information” group selected.

Any ideas why this data it not being saved in the registrant’s record?

Hello,

I’m seeing your Event Espresso folder as this:

eventespresso.tmp

It may not have upgraded/installed correctly. Could you backup your WordPress and remove the existing version?

Then download the latest version from your account page and reinstall through WordPress plugins by uploading the zip file and activating it:

https://eventespresso.com/users/niainc/

I just did this and even did the “Reset/Delete Data for Event Espresso” steps, then reinstalled using a fresh download of the program, and reentered the setup and event information.

Now it will store the phone number, but it still does not store the other “Personal Information” group and “Address Information” group data.

Any further suggestions?

I sent through a registration for the free ticket. Could you let us know what was not recorded?

Actually, I was able to find that information on the thank you page.

This may be a conflict with another plugin. Could you briefly deactivate all plugins and reactivate Event Espresso and re-test?

If it works, then restore a couple plugins at a time until it breaks again.
