I thought it might be the “Event Phone Number” under “Event Registration Options” on the right side of the page=espresso_events&action=edit… page but that’s not populating the [EVENT_PHONE] shortcode with anything. I found this wiki page (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/) which mentions the Custom Field Variables such as $event_phone = get_post_meta($post->ID, ‘event_phone’, true); but I checked the wp_postmeta table and “SELECT * FROM wp_postmeta WHERE meta_key = ‘event_phone'” returns zero results.

Hi there,
The above is for EE3 but your site uses EE4.
May I ask which specific message type you are editing and where the EVENT_PHONE shortcode is located in the template?

Event Espresso (admin link)
-> Events (sub link)
-> [Event name] (edit)
-> Notifications (section)
-> Email (tab)
-> Registration Approved (message type, edit button)
-> Primary Registrant (toggle dropdown and click Switch Recipient button)
-> Scroll down to the “Contact Info” section of the “Main Content” wysiwyg right above the “Email: [CO_EMAIL]” is the “Phone: [CO_PHONE]”
The [CO_PHONE] shortcode either isn’t working or I just don’t know where to fill in the phone number.

Ok, [CO_PHONE] is ‘Company Phone’
That should parse to the value in Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Your organization -> Phone Number
All CO_ shortcodes parse to the values set in the above section.
[EVENT_PHONE] in the EVENT_LIST section is used on the section of the email headed with ‘Connect with this Event:’
That parses to the phone number set in the event registration options you mentioned above, is that one also not working?
