I am using EE4 to set up a purchase facility for a yoga studio.

The studio has four terms a year. Each term running for 10 weeks. Each week consisting of roughly 6 classes.

Students enroll into a specific class time-slot e.g. Tue 4pm-5pm and can purchase either a 1 Session Pass, 5 Session Pass or 10 Session Pass.

I have set up an “event” represented by Tue 4pm-5pm and 10 “tickets” represented by each consecutive Tuesday date for the 10 week term period.

I seem to be okay thus far, but seem to be stuck in creating a ticket for a 5 Session Pass (with the view to apply a discount).

I want to track how full each class is, so I don’t think I can create an additional ticket for 5 Session Pass as this wont tell me which class the student is going to turn up to.

I thought maybe if they chose 5 x 1 Session Passes (from any of the 10 date options) a discount could automatically apply.

Is this possible? Thank you.

Hi there,

Currently something like this is not possible because as you’ve noted, there isn’t a way to track how full a class is if a 5 session ticket is purchased because those 5 sessions could be for any of the 5 sessions.

This may be possible in the future if they do build a Volume Discounts feature for Event Espresso 4, and they’re tracking interest for such a feature here:

Thanks Josh,

A volume discount applied to the cart towards specific tickets would be extremely helpful.

I’ll express my interest on Trello.
