There isn’t a button or anything (there is in EE4).
What you could do is add the ticket template to an old event and then view the attendees, pick a random one and click the Ticket icon under the Actions column. That will then show you the ticket in action (but won’t send it to anyone).
Hmm. I’m not getting a Ticket Icon. EE3. In Event Overview, I selected my event, then the Custom Ticket and Saved. I followed those instructions but see no Ticket Icon.
The only check for that icon is that the ticketing add-on is installed and activated.
