Preventing promotions from being used more than once

So when we first started using promotions, it would only be able to be used one time provided we entered one in the number of uses. Now, that does not seem to be the case. Even after a promotion has been used, and says unavailable, if someone enters it, it still works. Did something change in the way that promotions work?

Hi there,

The promotions uses field allows you to set the uses per scope item, so if you set a promotion to have a uses of 1 then its once per scope item. If you then set that promotion to be global and applied to all scope items the promotion is available once on all of them.

So when you say the promotion is being applied more than once, is that more than once on a single event?
