My client would like the following feature and I wondered how best to implement with Espresso.
They want people to register interest in an event. If they get enough interest then they will confirm the event and ask for payment.
I can see there is a preapproval option and I have set it to yes but I still get taken to the payment screen on the front end. Is there any way to not automatically take a user to the payment screen until they have been approved?
I currently have EE3 personal and WP User Integration

Was this the option within Event Espresso -> General Settings? http://take.ms/bN0tH
If so that basically enables the Pre-Approval ‘Feature’, you’ll need to enabled it within the events itself also. If you edit the event, on the right you’ll find the ‘Attendee Pre-Approval Required’ metabox http://take.ms/yy5n3
Set that to Yes and update the event.
Then when a user registers onto the event, they will see this screen after they click Confirm Registration. http://take.ms/j6RYd
The admin must then approve that registration, once it has been approved an ‘invoice’ email will be sent with a link to ‘View Your Payment Details’ which can be used to pay for the event. http://take.ms/7HxjB
One thing to note, currently each single registration for that event will need to be manually approved.
Amazing, thank you very much, just want I wanted. I was staring so hard at the event screen I just missed it :).
Thanks again.
