Hi Team and Forum!
I’m new in booking events matter so excuse if I’m asking a commonplace ora a strange question!
My customer needs a booking calendar for events such as Seminar, Workshops and so on and he wants to have two choices of payment for each event:
1 – pay now (and no problem here!)
2 – pay later but within 30 days from event beginning, and if you do not pay within the supposed date your registration automatically cancelled
Is it possible to have that or something similar?!
The way capacity is calculated (in Event Espresso 4) is by those who have “Approved” registrations. You can configure the default registration status to be different things, but by default the registration status is “Pending Payment”. That means that a seat will not be reserved for that individual until their payment has been received (in full). So, this already happens automatically.
If you want a registration that is not yet paid to be counted toward the capacity limit, then you would set the default registration status to “Approved”. Then, 30 days out if there are registrations that have not paid, you can manually change those registrations to “Pending Payment”, and the additional seats will be come available until payment has been received.
Does that help?
