Hi There
We need to be able to gather information for car show tickets e.g. Vehicle make and model etc and have this information on the printable ticket so it can be used as a car card with barcode for scanning at entry.
At the same event we need to sell tickets to additional passengers in the car and to spectators who walk in.
Can these things be achieved with Event Espresso?

Hi there!
Thank you for contacting us! We appreciate your interest in Event Espresso.
With EE4 you can collect the information. Then with Ticketing add-on, and the Barcode scanner add-on, you can print the questions and answers on the tickets, and scan the tickets with a barcode reader. Also, you can set up additional ticket types for the additional registrants.

One other question. I see you have an iOS and Android app for scanning. Is this robust enough to cope with multiple devices checking in tickets at the same time from different locations around the event venue?

The mobile apps currently only work with EE3. But to answer your questions, they are robust enough to cope with multiple devices scanning lots of tickets if your server configuration is robust enough to handle the load. We have customers with events that sell thousands of tickets and run simultaneous check-ins.

So bottom line, which solution will work best for us based on our requirement to collect and print some information to ticket, sell some ticket variations for same event and scan at multiple locations?

The business support license for Event Espresso 3 would be a good fit. Here is what it offers:
