I downloaded the pre-release calendar (it’s way, way better for responsive sites), and everything is working fine except that the events aren’t actually showing up on the calendar. When the widget loads the ajax spinner just infinitely spins and nothing every shows up. Anyone had this happen or have any idea what’s going on? I have no js errors and no php errors.
I’ve had the same thing happen from time to time on my test site too. It turned out to be that WP_DEBUG was set to true in the WordPress (wp_config.php) file. That is the first thing I would check. The other thing that may help is to go into the Event Espresso>Calendar settings and check the “Reset Settings” box and the bottom of the page there, then save.
That’s so weird. I turned it to false and it started working immediately. I usually leave it on true in my development environments, but I guess I won’t. Any idea why that happens?
I’m not sure. I will usually leave WP_DEBUG on too, and usually the calendar will load up as expected. Other times it will not. If I find out the exact cause I’ll be sure to post an update here.
