I have a problem with the pound currency character which does not appear correctly in the ticket price section. Is there any way I could fix this? Thank you in advance
You can check to see if the typeface/font set by the theme has a figure for the pound character. The little squarish character indicates it doesn’t. So one fix can be to set that table cell to use a different typeface.
Thank you very much for your reply. The thing is that even by setting the table’s font to Arial for example it still doesn’t change. At inspect element it shows the character as the squarish character than the pound. Which is the file I should access in order to check if the character is set correctly?
Thank you
This is likely something unique to your site that’s causing this, because the file that sets the pound symbol works on all of the other sites running Event Espresso. Do you know if the character set for your site is set to utf-8?
I still cant locate the problem as is it set to UTF-8. Additionally I have a bigger problem now which only your support team could fix. I downloaded a plugin for managing the privileges or the users of my wordpress and the event espresso nav link disappeared. I really don’t know how to fix this and revert the user roles. I have deactivated the downloaded plugin and and deleted the users but the event espresso link still doesn’t appear in the admin sidebar. What can I do?
Thank you again very much
You’ll need to change the first part of the URL (e.g. example.com) to your actual URL. Then click on the reset button for the capabilities which looks like this:
