Pop-up of items added to cart showing incorrect number

When users add an item to the cart, a pop-up appears telling them how many items they have added to the cart. It has started showing 600+ items have been added to the cart in the pop-up. If you click on the cart, it’s only added the one item as it should.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks for reaching out to us.

I checked your website and I could not replicate this happening. Here are two screenshots:

Both times just one more item was added to cart.

When I began to checkout, there was just two items in the cart.

Is it possible that something was happening from testing, caching causing interference?

Can you be sure to log out of your website, and/or empty the cart, and try again? Can you reproduce this happening?

Hi,

I’ve hidden the message for now, so it is not showing up. Here is what it looked like before I hid it:

When you go to checkout, the correct items are there, it’s only this message that is incorrect.

I’ve emptied the cache and restarted the server, but neither had any impact. It’s a very strange error to suddenly appear.

Hi,

I emptied the cache of the website and restarted the server. The message still showed the incorrect number.

If you go to the website now, I have hidden the message. Before I hid it, when you added a class, it would say “637 items were successfully added for this event.” The number was always some variation of 600. But if you actually went to checkout, it showed the correct number of classes. It seemed like the error was only in this pop-up message.

Hi there,

I can reproduce this with the same setup you are using on your events and have created a ticket for our developers to investigate.

It looks like an issue when setting the ‘Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event’ to 1 and will need to a fix.

I’ll post any updates to this here.

We’ve found the cause for this and a fix will be included in the next version of the Multi Event Registration Add-on which should be pushed live on Monday.
