Hi, I just got a warning that my license is for a single domain. EE4 detected that I am using MU and advised that I check my license. My WPMU is set up using subdirectories not subdomains/multidomains. I just want to check if there is anything I should do about it? FYI, I have no problem with upgrading regularly. |
Hi Raffy, You should only be able to put the key in on the main site of a WP Multsite site. Are you actually seeing a license key field (in Event Espresso > General Settings) on any other sites that the main site? |

Hi Josh, I am able to put the key on the main site. I have no problem with that nor the upgrading. EE4 works fine on WPMU. I just got a warning that my license is for a single domain. EE4 detected that I am using MU and advised that I check my license. I asking if I may continue using EE4 on WPMU with sites in subdirectories? |
EE doesn’t officially support WPMU but we do have multiple users using it without a problem. The licensing system has pings from your main site in******.**, and another site in******.**/mac******n Is that the new site you are referring to above? I’ll reset your license key now to remove the notice. |

Hi, Tony! I don’t have a problem with EE4. That warning simply prompted me to ask you guys about it. I am currently using EE4 for in******.**, in******.**/mac********n and in******.**/tn*****************e Thanks, guys, for upi attention to my concern. |
ok, please let me know if the reset solves the problem. |

So far so good. No problems with reset. Will holler if I run into any trouble. |

Since the availability of 4.9.49 The message popped up again. You have the correct Support License Key for Event Espresso but your account only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now. If I can safely ignore this, I don’t require any further attention on the matter. I have been upgrading the site by doing the EEWPMU shuffle deactivate > delete > upload event-espresso-core-reg > activate |
Yes, you can ignore the notice and update manually. The license key is used for support and one-click updates, if you update manually (which you’ll need to do on WPMU) it won’t matter. |
