I’m trying to update the Event Espresso plugin on our WordPress page, but the message I’m getting is “A valid Support License Key is needed to enable automatic upgrades.” As far as I know, we have an Everything License and the support key that we have has been inputted into the general settings section of EE on our website. What’s the best way to update the plugin? Thanks!
What’s happened is your old site (the one with the subdomain 2017) was still using the key. I’ve reset your key so now you can use the key on your new site. You’ll go to your new site’s Event Espresso > General Settings page, verify it has the correct key (it needs to match the key on your account page here). Then click Save. Then you’ll be able to run the updates on your site’s Plugins page.
