If I update the event espresso plugin will I lose any info IE: Message Templates / Registration Form Etc…

Version 4.9.53.p update to 4.9.57.p

Hi there,

No you should no lose any of your event data in the database, if you have edited EE core files any customisation will be lost but not your event data.

When updating any plugin/theme, not just Event Espresso, but any code on your site we recommend creating a database backup first just to be safe.

There are multiple methods to doing so but a plugin I use to create backups is:
