Plugin not updating

Keep getting the error message, “An error occurred while updating Event Espresso: Update package not available.” and the message in the update information box looks strange as well. It’s blank where the newest version number should be, like this:

You have version 3.1.36.5.P installed. Update to . View version details.
Compatibility with WordPress 4.6.1: Unknown

We recently purchased a license key (EE4 Personal License) so that we could upgrade. Did we not purchase the correct kind? Or do we need to have our key reset for our site? Thank you so much!

Hi there,

You’ll actually need an EE3 license to update to the current version of EE3. You can switch the license type from EE4 to EE3 by going to your account page and select an EE3 license plan in the Switch Your Support License box.

Thank you, Josh! Makes sense.

I’m trying to change from a EE4 Personal License to an EE3 Personal License now, but every time I get to the Order Checkout page and click the Complete Order button, it says ‘…processing’ and nothing happens. I left it up for hours.

Would you be able to assist me in getting the license changed, please? TIA!
