Is there a plugin or way to create User Help files for contacts buying tickets – or a list of the error messages they see? I am having a lot of abandoned tickets and failed orders and looking at the back end it seems like some help prompts may remove these. Example user tries to order 2 tickets, but only wants to input one set of contact details – or enters the postal code wrong – etc.
The form validation messages can be customized. For example if they leave some fields blank a standard “This field is required” message is shown. You can customize the validation message for each missing field. You’ll find those in Event Espresso > Registration Form > Questions, then go in to edit each required question.
