Plugin automatic update not working (2)

When I tried to update the Event Espresso plugin, I saw I had the following message: “A new version of Event Espresso is available. View What’s New with version 4.9.53.p. A valid Support License Key is needed to enable automatic upgrades. The key you have entered is invalid or has expired. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now.”

I do have a valid license and also logged onto your website try to add license key in my WP admin panel but there is not any option for adding a license key. I am not getting why this issue is coming or I am forgetting something. So what is the problem? How do I get it to update?

I really appreciate any help.

Hi Dean,

Currently the license key on your EE.com account isn’t assigned to any domain, so if you log into WP Admin on your site, then go to:

Event Espresso -> General Settings

At the top of the page you should see an option to add a license key – http://take.ms/fTbfo

(If you don’t its likely your site is using WP MultiSite and you’ll need to log into the main network to view the above field)

If you have that option you grab you license key from your account page, paste it there and save. EE should thn allow updates on your site.
