Anyone have any idea why my plug-in updates related to Espresso are no longer ‘automatic’ – meaning I cannot just click the update button. I have to deactivate it, change the folder name, and then upload the new update, activate it and then delete the old BAK folder.

thanks

Hi Lauren,

Can you relate what happens when you try to click the update button? Or is there no update button?

there is an update button – I click it, says update, but the plugin is not updated. If I use the bulk update, I see this:

Hi Lauren,

This could mean that your server is running out of disk space or there’s something not quite right with the server’s file permissions. In either case, you can contact your webhost and ask them to check the disk space and check the file permissions on the wp-content folder to make sure that the server allows WordPress to write to it.
