Hi there, i’d like to personalise the confirmation email sent to our delegates for a certain event in order to add some hotel booking info that they may require. Is this possible?
The messages in Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message template are the templates used by default for all of your events, however, you can create ‘custom’ templates for any of those and select them on the event itself meaning that custom template can have event specific info if needed.
So, edit the event in question and look in the ‘Notifications’ section.
Make sure you are on the ‘Email’ tab and find the ‘Registration Approved’ message type in the list and click on ‘Create New Custom’. A modal will show asking for a name and description, make you give it a meaning full name so you can identify what that template is for and click Create Template.
After you’ve clicked create, EE will create a new template and set it on the event.
Save the event to make sure that change is saved, now click on the ‘Edit’ button for that custom template you just created. A new tab will open editing that template directly, note that by default it will open the ‘Event Admin’ context, meaning its the message sent to the Event Admin and not the user, change that at the top using the dropdown, for more info see here:
