There is a personal information field on the event registration page. Currently it includes first and last name. Unfortunately, both of these fields are read only. How can we change this?
It looks like there might be a conflict somewhere, possibly with a plugin. That information should be automatically populated for users that are logged in. Under Event Espresso > Member Settings, I’ve changed “Make autofilled fields editable?” to “Yes”. This allows the user to enter their information. If you’d like to rule out any plugin conflicts, deactivate all non Event Espresso plugins and test to see if the issue is still occurring. If it is not, then we know it is a problem with another plugin. You can then find out which plugin it is by reactivating each plugin individually and testing to see if the problem starts happening after the activation. When it occurs after activating a plugin, then we know this is the culprit.
