Person registers twice for event and first registration disappears

I am using Version 3.1.37.11.P for training classes. Sometimes I have clients that want to register two different dogs/handlers for a class. When they sign up one right after another the first registration disappears. I am getting email copies and the two registration ids are different. I did a test and the first registration is in the database, but then when I register again it deletes the first attendee id and I see only the second one. I am guessing this may have to do something with sessions or know my computer is the same, however I need to be able to let clients sign up multiple times for a class if they want. How can I fix this issue?

Hi Angelica,

The way to avoid this issue is they need to not hit the back button to add another register. If they hit the back button before the registration session is cleared, that will overwrite the previous registration. Instead of hitting the back button, they can click on the link that directs them to start a new registration. The link is outlined in this screenshot:

Event Espresso 4 has more checks in place to not allow the session to be re-used for a second registration, if you can update to Event Espresso 4 that’s going to be the way forward to avoid the issue entirely.
