Permalink gets 404 error

I created an event in Event Espresso and inserted the permalink into a new page on my menu. When clicked all I get is a 404 error.
How do I fix this. Please help

Hi there,

Sounds like you need to flush permalinks.

Go to Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks

You need to do anything just load the page.

Does the link for your event now work?
