Pending payment status after successful IDEAL payment

Hi,
When our clients register for an event, they can only pay by using our IDEAL plugin. This works well, but even after a successful payment, the status remains ‘pending payment’, and our clients don’t receive the right invoice.
Before, the default status ‘pending payment’ changed after a successful payment. Can you help me to fix this?

Could you please let us know the version of Event Espresso that you are using? This information will be available in your WP plugins screen within your WP dashboard.

Thanks.
Our version is 4.8.14.p.
Apart from the fact that our clients see an invoice, with ‘pending payment’ and ‘owed amount’, they don’t receive the confirmation email and neither do we as the company.

If the registration is not updated to Approved they won’t receive the Registration Approved email (which I’m assuming is your confirmation email as it is with most users)

You mentioned:

What has changed between when it worked and when it did not?

When our clients register for an event, they can only pay by using our IDEAL plugin.

Is the ‘our’ a typo? Are you using the EE4 iDeal Mollie gateway Add-on and your own integration?

Hi,

Regarding your last question, I just mean that our customers can only pay for an event by using our Pronamic iDeal plugin, which is working well. So there is probably not a problem with my iDeal plugin.

What has changed in between is the following:
– Before, when our clients register for an event, they pay via iDeal and then the registration is approved, followed by the confirmation email with an invoice and receipt included.
– Now, when people register and successfully make a payment, the registration remains ‘pending payment’. So the customer sees that the registration has succeeded but the payment is still pending. Within the invoice, which appears in the screen, you see again ‘pending payment’ and the amount owed, which has already been paid!. Besides this, we, as the company, don’t get a confirmation email and neither does the client.

Hi Hans, are you still experiencing this issue?

Also, could you confirm that you are using a different payment option for iDeal than the iDeal Mollie payment gateway for Event Espresso 4?
