PDF receipt or invoice — cannot save valid PDF

Same issue as https://eventespresso.com/topic/receipt-invoice-pdf-viewing-issues/

A PDF can be saved, but it’s not valid and cannot be opened up with Adobe, receipt or invoice.

Hi,

The problem in the other topic was caused by some invalid html in the invoice. What happens is the PDF conversion script cannot convert to PDF if there’s invalid html. May I ask were any edits made to the Invoice template and are there any html tags within the Invoice settings fields in Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Invoice Settings?
