Hi, I am having the exact same problem as described in this closed thread: https://eventespresso.com/topic/paypal-standard-problems-error-has-occurred-payments_admin_page-_update_p/ The resolution was not posted in the thread so I need additional assistance. The image URL is fine when copied in to a browser, but the validation on the page does not like it. It will not let me save PayPal settings until the issue is resolved. Running Version 4.6.19.p Thanks! |
Hi, could you try adding a www to the URL and let us know if that helps? — |

Adding www has no effect. The logo is definitely there, but with or without the www it still gives the validation error. |
If you completely remove the logo URL from that field and input your PayPal setting, will it allow you to save the settings? (The image field will revert back to the default setting when left empty) In the thread you linked to, we found certain server configurations would prevent the image from loading and include a work around for this within Event Espresso. As you are using the latest version you already have that fix included. |

When leaving the field blank, it DOES allow me to save the settings. However, when I go to the live site and “purchase” a ticket, there is a broken image box where the paypal logo should be — so it is not reverting to default for me. I also tried downloading the image to my media library and linking to that instead. No luck — same validation error even though it works fine when I copy/paste the URL for the image in the image library into another browser session. |
Hi there, Could you please create a temporary WordPress admin login so we can take a closer look at this issue? Please share that temporary login through the secure link below: To prevent delays in troubleshooting, be sure to double check your information on the form before submitting. The submit button for the form appears at the end of the form. Again, please ensure that the temporary login works. Thank you. — |
