Hi there, I can’t find any details of a 120002 error from PayPal, heres a list of error codes from PayPal: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/api/errors/#12000-to-12099 I ran a test registration on one of your events and got a ‘Security header not valid’ error, which means the credentials are incorrect. Your site is currently using PayPal Pro, do you have a PayPal Pro account? (There is a monthly fee for that account type in addition to transaction, fees if your not paying a monthly fee you don’t have an account that can use PayPal Pro) If you do, confirm you have all of the correct details set within the payment method, you can follow this guide: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/paypal-pro-payment-gateway/#locate
Yes, go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Logs There you’ll find multiple log entries for each payment attempt. |

i mistyped the security issue…its 10002 (sorry) and the log says “10002; Security error”..i rechecked the userid/password/signature three times and it looks the same is there a way to look further into what caused the security issue..i switched back to paypal express–the log is limited in what the problem is..would looking into the backend via cpanel help? hope this helps thanks |
Error 10002 all relate to an issue with the account – http://take.ms/mFMIas
Not really, the error is not from EE, or your site, it’s from PayPal themselves. Have you confirmed that you have a PayPal websites payments pro enabled on your PayPal account (the services which requires the monthly fee I mentioned above) as its required to use the PayPal Pro payment method? |

does paypal express require paypal websites payments pro? |
