PayPal Pro: Trouble connecting

How can I connect PayPal Pro with my PayPal account? The PayPal page only gives me email, client id and secret but Event Espresso wants username, password and signature. The Event Espresso documentation references non-existent PayPal pages as PayPal have refreshed its interface so the same settings options are now not available.

Hi there,

Is this a ‘new’ PayPal account? If so PayPal no longer allow signups for ‘Websites payments pro’ with the integration method needed for the PayPal Pro payment method.

We had a report of this recently in another thread here:

And its something we are currently investigating as new PayPal accounts can not use PayPal Pro.

However, I highly recommend reading over that thread in terms of PCI Compliance with PayPal Pro incase you are unaware, PayPal Pro being an ONsite payment method would require the highest level of PCI compliance on your part vs something like PayPal Express (which is what I would recommend) which is an OFFsite payment method where PayPal handle the majority of the compliance for you.
