Hello,
We’re trying to integrate a PayPal Pro Hosted gateway into Event Espresso.
An email from PayPal indicates the following:
There are two options for Pro integration, Pro Hosted (PayPal will host the transactions on its secure server for you) or Pro Direct (your web-server will host all transactions).
If you select “PRO Hosted” option with PayPal – it would mean that PayPal will then look after all the PCI Compliance issues for you and payment transactions will take place on PayPal website but within a customised frame (it will look exactly like one of your webpages and the customer will not notice any difference).
I activated the PayPal Pro gateway, but this appears to only work for the PayPal Pro Direct solution, rather than the hosted iframe solution.
Can we use the PayPal Pro Hosted solution with Event Espresso?

Hi Kevin,
Currently, our PayPal Pro payment method does not support the Hosted gateway solution, only Direct.
If you are looking for a payment method that uses an iFrame to keep your used on site without PCI compliance I would recommend using the EE4 Stripe payment method.
