PayPal Payments Not Recording in EE4

I’m having some trouble with transactions and PayPal. I setup PayPal IPN to point to the Transactions page and I also setup a PayPal return URL to go to the Thank-you page. But I am still having trouble with customers getting an error message asking them to contact me.

I’m not sure what to try next.

Could you share more information about this issue?

Where does the error occur — is it on your site or over on PayPal.com?

Could you copy and paste the error here in a reply?

The error occurs on my site, it says “there was a problem processing your payment so we are not able to complete your registration please contact (me)”

But, the payment is actually completed when I look at my PayPal account.

I did not have that latest release installed. I just upgraded and will let you know if I see the issue again.
