Paypal payments not completed successfuly

I have installed EE and using Paypal as the payment gateway for my events.

I tried both the regular transactions page and also the recommended one in troubleshooting.

The payments are received in Paypal, however seems that IPN is not working and updating my order to leave the payment marked as complete.

I need your help to fully enabled paypal payments to ensure the full cycle wolrks smoothly.

Hi Alejandro,

I tested a few transactions and this is working the way it normally does. One thing to consider about PayPal is there is a delay from the time they send their Payment Notification to your site, so it’s not typical to return to the site after the PayPal payment and see the payment as complete right away. If you refresh the page after 30 seconds or so you’ll see the payment status get updated.

In Event Espresso 4.3 we are adding a new feature that will display a message that will say the payment is pending, and in the background it will check for the PayPal response, then update the payment status.
