Hello, registration’s since yesterday aren’t showing up in the back-end, I am not sure what has happened. I registered one and it sends all the details to the attendee, but not on the list in the backend. I did move over from the test site over to the live site yesterday. Here’s the error message. Any help would be great! An error has occurred: |
The issue seems that when someone registers on the front end, the payment goes through, but never shows up in the back end attendee list. |
Hi David, Could you let us know if you are running a caching plugin? Also, was this site recently updated through WordPress plugins (your WP dashboard) to the current version of Event Espresso 4.3.2? — |
Currently not running a caching plugin at all, and for purposes of the event being live tomorrow, I have not updated to 4.3.2 due to the implementing of the certificate function that is put in. It’s currently sitting at 4.3.0 right now. |
with that error occuring, are there a few causes that you can think of I can look at to see if it would fix? |
ok, here’s an update.. the two registered folk seem to be registered on the test site but not the live site, yet they registered on the live site. Now the IPN link and everything is set at /transactions/ why would the test site get the registration and not the live site when it wasn’t even sent through the test site? |
Hi David, It may be the certificate function. Is that something that was directly added to Event Espresso’s core files? |
yes, would you like me to zip it up and send it to you? |
the certificate function would make it redirect over to the test site though? It seems as if it is actually working, but they registered on the live site, and it logged over onto the test site. It’s really weird. |
Hi David, It may help to temporarily disable the customization (which may involve making a backup of the files, then installing a fresh, unaltered copy of EE on the server, and running a test). This will help you verify whether or not the custom code is causing the issue you reported here. If it turns out that the customization is causing the issue, I can recommend contacting the developer of the certificate customization for support. We do not support third party code. |
