I have successfully setup Event Espresso 4 on my clients website and everything is working. YAYYY! Unfortunately, I have this error message in PayPal that says “Based on your recent activity, payments you receive from buyers will be in your pending balance and temporarily unavailable. This money will be moved to your available balance and released to you in 21 days (as long as there are no problems with your orders).” Is this a setting that should be made in the EE4 plugin? |
Hi, that may happen if you have a new PayPal account that begins to receive several payments in a short period of time. Here is what I would do: 1) If you haven’t already done so, start the PayPal account verification process: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/security/verification-faq 2) Upgrade your account to a PayPal Premier or a PayPal Business account 3) Follow up with PayPal customer support over the phone once the steps above have been completed and ask them to lift the hold. — |

I don’t understand exactly what am I verifying as the account is active. Also, I have a PayPal Business account. Suppose the best way to move forward is to call customer support. |
Hi, it is similar to an automated alert and it can be triggered based on activity on the PayPal account. For example, if a large number of payments are received in a short amount of time. I would check with PayPal support so they can take a look at it. — |

They are saying that it’s a problem with your system. |

They are saying that it has to do with a shipping feature that has been turned on. Is there a way to turn off shipping? |
