Hey,
Having problems getting paypal to allow users to purchase on my site without a paypal account. I want the ability to charge customers without a paypal account, what am I missing?

Hi Racheal,
It turns out this is a PayPal account setting. When you go into your PayPal account you’ll find some settings under Profile > My Selling Tools > Website Preferences. If you scroll down about 2/3 of the way down the page there is a setting that’s labeled “PayPal Account Optional”. You’ll want to set this to “On”. and then save.
Then, when you go to pay with PayPal it will display an option to pay by credit *if* you’re not already logged into PayPal -or- if there aren’t any cookies in your browser from the last time you were logged into PayPal.com. You may need to switch browsers or go into a private browsing mode to get the pay by credit card option to appear if you’ve logged into PayPal.com recently.
