We’ve been processing payments through PayPal without any issue this year, then yesterday people trying to buy tickets got this error:

Fatal error: Class ‘EE_Processor_Base’ not found in /home/gses14/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/EE_Payment_Processor.core.php on line 16

I can confirm the error happens after moving to PayPal to pay (after login) but before finalization.

Any assistance would be helpful, we’re selling tickets for an event next week.

Thanks –

Sue Cline

Hi Sue,

The fatal error you saw:

Fatal Error: Class ‘EE_Processor_Base’ not found in /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/EE_Payment_Processor.core.php on line 16

is something that could happen with 4.9.35.p.

Event Espresso 4.9.36.p is released and includes a fix for that error.

I do indeed have 4.9.35.p running. I do NOT have an option to update to 4.9.36.p. When is that going to be released? Can I get an immediate copy?

4.9.36.p was released earlier today. You can trigger an update notification on the WordPress plugins page by visiting your site’s Event Espresso > General Settings page and saving the options there.

That worked, thank you! You can close this ticket if you’d like.
