We are getting an error when trying to use Paypal Commerce. <<<There is an error with this payment. See the logs for details.; Error: Expected an order id to be passed>>>
The logs say: <<< Got an error response (AJAX): SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘, “ER”… is not valid JSON >>>

Ok, so the error being thrown is:
ERROR: Sorry, there was an error. Please be sure JavaScript and Cookies are enabled in your browser and try again.
That’s not from Event Espresso, or PayPal as far as I can tell.
It looks like it’s coming from the WP Spamsheild plugin you have installed on the site.
If you temporarily deactivate that plugin and test again, does it work then?

That Worked. Thank you. I was able to change some setting in Spam Shield and it still worked.

Awesome. You may also want to install Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin or any similar plugin where you can do Troubleshooting and allows you to have a clean WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user until you disable it or log out.
